I’m Pao, a chef and recipe developer who loves making food that makes people happy. For the past 20 years, I’ve been working on both sides of the Atlantic searching for flavours that HIT just RIGHT.  

I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, a tropical city full of immigrants, like my family. Growing up, family mealtimes meant finding the flavours that tasted like home. This early lesson taught me two things; the first, that food is the best tool for connection; the second, that I love the process of uncovering flavours.

If you’re after new ways to bring a concept to life, I can create a bespoke experience for you. If you’re looking for a product that will nourish your customers and your bottom line, I can develop a recipe that does both. 

After two decades in the food industry, I know how precious food sustainability is. In real terms, this means that I will always bring a people-conscious and planet-conscious lens to the table.

HOW I GOT HERE 

I trained in Barcelona, Spain at ESHOB and CETT culinary schools, where I earned one degree for cooking and one for sommelier. From there I worked at El Celler de Can Roca restaurant and more recently developed recipes for GU Desserts, Paleo foods and Minor Figures.
